Commercial halibut season in full swing on North Island

The commercial halibut season is in full swing now on the North Island. Ocean Explorer brought about 40,000 pounds to Cove Fisheries on Saturday morning, where the skilled, hard-working staff sorted and tagged the valuable fish.
