Free from earthly pain, he will live on in our hearts forever. Garth is deeply missed by his wife Margaret, daughters Samantha (Mark), Linda (Dan); sons Ryan (Tracey), Jim; granddaughters Sadie, Lisa, Sydney; grandson Simon, sister Lynne and brother Doug.
Garth was a Machinist for 50 years working in North Vancouver, Edmonton, Haida Gwai, Quadra Island and Port McNeill. When he wasn’t machining, he loved to create garden spaces, make devices (gadgets) that made any type of work easier, woodworking projects for his family and friends, card games with his buddies and road trips with his wife.
An open house will be announced at a later date, everyone will be welcome. Donations in Garth’s memory may be made to BC Children’s Hospital.
