Robert Andrew Pickett passed away May 6, 2011. He is survived and will be missed by his wife Emily; children Tamara (Dan) Neilson of Aldergrove, BC, Shannon Dietrich (Don) of Delta, BC; grandchildren Derek, Amanda, Dylan, Ashley, Dalton. Also survived by his brothers John (Linda) of Campbell River, Bill (Nolfa) of Richmond, sisters Carol of Vancouver, Pat Coulson (Dave) of Delta, Sue McFarlane of Richmond and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his parents John Pickett 1971 and Constance Pickett 2005.
Born in Manila Phillipines, the family came to Canada in 1945 and settled in Vancouver, BC. Robert moved to Vancouver Island where he worked in the forestry industry until his retirement in 2006.
Celebration of Life will be held May 21 at 1:00pm at the Port Aliced Golf Club, Port Alice.
