Cram the Cruiser was a big success in the Town of Port McNeill this past December.

The RCMP noted in an email to the North Island Gazette that people in the North Island were "very generous and we were able to collect an overwhelming amount of food and cash donations ($2,085). Our collection started on Friday when the RCMP Members visited Sunset Elementary School and North Island Secondary School, collecting several boxes full of food and cash donations ($220)."

Cram the Cruiser is an annual fundraiser where people bring non-perishable food items or cash donations and cram them into an RCMP cruiser.

All proceeds go directly to the A-Frame Food Distribution to help support their food programs on the North Island.
