The big man in red took time out of his busy schedule to pop by a series of North Island events last weekend.

And local artists and artisans made sure he felt welcome as Port McNeill  hosted a craft bazaar and a festive play to usher in the season.

Port McNeill lit its community Christmas Tree Saturday night followed by a special performance at the Gate House Community Theatre by the after-school drama program.
