PORT McNEILL—Dancers from across Vancouver Island will take the floor next week when the Mount Waddington Highland Dance Association hosts its fifth annual Highland dance competition.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, and will feature morning and afternoon sessions across a wide range of skill levels and dance styles.
In addition to the traditional Highland dances, a choreography competition will take place for both groups and individuals. The day wraps up with the Challenge Hornpipe.
Tickets are $5 for adults and entry is free for children. Event programs will be available for $3.
