North Island kids didn’t need a lot of encouragement to get involved when the Funmobile rolled into the area last weekend, bring skipping ropes, beanbags, hula hoops and more.

The participACTION initiative aims to improve the health of children by encouraging a return to unstructured play.

The Funmobile stopped off in Port McNeill, Alert Bay and Port Hardy last week as part of a B.C.-wide tour to show kids that you don’t need video games to have a good time.
