Port Hardy’s Wild Heart Music Choir hosts its debut concert 'Beginnings'.

PORT HARDY—The young vocalists of Port Hardy’s Wild Heart Music Choir were in full voice last week as the group held its debut concert at Port Hardy Secondary School.

Appropriately titled ‘Beginnings’, the concert showcased the talents of both the junior and senior choirs under the direction of Krista Minar to a packed house in the school’s multi-purpose room.

The free after-school music program was introduced last year in Port Hardy after a successful launch of the program in Port McNeill the year before.

The brainchild of local singer/songwriter Georgia Murray, the program was set up to bring an affordable and accessible music program to the youth of the North Island.
