NIC recognizes employees 63 employees for 926 years of service

North Island College held an Employee Recognition event, where former Port Hardy employee Danita Schmidt received an award at the event (NIC recognizes people in five-year intervals). And, even though she now teaches in the Comox Valley and Campbell River, she taught all her past 15 years at the Mount Waddington campus and still associates it as her home.

North Island College held an Employee Recognition event, where former Port Hardy employee Danita Schmidt received an award at the event (NIC recognizes people in five-year intervals). And, even though she now teaches in the Comox Valley and Campbell River, she taught all her past 15 years at the Mount Waddington campus and still associates it as her home.

NIC instructor Danita Schmidt taught math upgrading for 15 years at NIC’s Mount Waddington regional campus in Port Hardy until this past year. She now teaches math upgrading at the Comox Valley and Campbell River campuses.
