The Port Hardy Pride Society teamed up with the Sacred Wolf Friendship Centre to put on a weekend full of Pride festivities.
On Friday night there was a Pride parade/car procession that went around town, on Saturday morning there was a Pride Sidewalk March to the Civic Centre with all ages activities such as a kareoke vs. lip sync battle, a tie dye station, as well as a King, Queen, and They catwalk best dressed contest.
Saturday night featured an adult Pride party at the Civic Centre with contests, standup comedy, music, dancing, and a best dressed contest. On Sunday, the festivities wrapped up with a volunteer celebration brunch.
Port Hardy Pride Society and Sacred Wolf would like to express the most highest gratitude to all the support of their volunteers, organizations, and community members that made this year’s Port Hardy Pride 2023 event and weekend activities a PROUD success.
