Port Hardy locals came out Sunday morning, Nov. 11, briefly before 11:00 a.m. to pay commemoration to Canadian soldiers who served in the First, Second World War or the Korean War. The memorial service was held at the Port Hardy cenotraph near the waterfront with what could roughly over 100 residents who came to pay respects. Remembrance Day is also about remembering and holding a ceremony for Canadian Armed Forces who have served in other conflicts or who are currently serving the country now.
