On Sunday, June 29, Port Hardy will come alive with colour, music, and celebration as the community gathers to honour Pride Month.

The event will kickoff at 11:30 a.m. with a sidewalk march from the Thunderbird Mall to Carrot Park, followed by a land acknowledgement and welcome from 12 p.m. to 12:15 p.m.

After that, there will be a flag raising, vendors, food trucks, prizes and games, and a bouncy castle till 4 p.m. Guests can also enjoy live music from The Voice Collective Community at 1 p.m.

The festivities aim to celebrate diversity, foster connection, and uplift voices of all identities while offering a joyful and inclusive space for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies to come together in unity and support.

Everyone is invited to bring their brightest colours, open hearts, and festive spirit to this free community event.
