After 60 years of serving Northern Vancouver Island and the surrounding communities, the North Island Gazette is embarking on a new chapter. To better adapt to the changing landscape of serving our communities better, we've made the difficult decision to close our office and transition to a remote work model.
While our physical space is changing as of Oct. 31, our commitment to delivering quality news remains unwavering. You will continue to find our stories online and in print, and our phone number (250-949-6225) will be staying the same.
We are excited about this opportunity to streamline our operations and focus on providing the information and stories that matter most to the North Island communities.
Thank you to our customers and clients for your continued support throughout the years. We look forward to serving you for many more to come. Subscriptions can be paid online at northislandgazette.com/subscriptions, over the phone, or by mail.
As we transition to a remote work model, our commitment to supporting our community remains steadfast. The North Island Gazette Hamper Fund will continue to be a lifeline for families during the holiday season.
To make the application process as seamless as possible, our online application will be available Nov. 1. Watch for more details as we head into the holiday season. Donations can be mailed to PO Box 458, Port Hardy, B.C, V0N2P0
