PHSS play opens

PHSS will present The Father Thursday, Friday and Saturday night

The Port Hardy Secondary School drama department will present The Father tonight through Saturday at the school’s drama room.

The Father is a drama written by August Strindberg that explores the roles of different family members. Set in the late-nineteenth century, the story follows the Captain and his manipulative wife as they struggle for control over the future of their daughter — a struggle that ends in tragic consequences.

Shows will be held tonight, tomorrow and Saturday. Doors open at 6:30 and the performance starts at 7 p.m. Advance tickets are available at Cafe Guido for $8, and tickets will be available at the doors for $10.
