The Red Cross needs volunteers to operate the Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) in the community of Port Hardy.
“The Red Cross currently operates our Health Equipment Loan Program out of the Hardy Bay Senior’s Centre and we need to find volunteers in Port Hardy to continue to operate the service,” said June Hruby, coordinator for the Canadian Red Cross.
“We are looking for two to four people to volunteer on-call.”
HELP offers short-term loan of health equipment to the public with a referral from a health care provider.
There will be an information and on boarding session on:
Wednesday, May 31 at 1 p.m. and on Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hardy Bay Senior’s Centre in Port Hardy.
