The Mark Crissinger Band is going to be performing at the Gate House Theatre in Port McNeill on Saturday, Nov. 16.
The name Crissinger might sound familiar. Since 2010 he has been building a solo career, playing over 100 shows a year throughout Canada. He has released six studio albums, four live albums, and been nominated for a Maple Blues Award. His music can be heard around the world on blues radio programs and the Stingray blues channel.
His band is a contemporary blues band featuring an all-star cast of musicians from Nanaimo. Their multiple performances at blues festivals in Nanaimo, Victoria, Chemainus, Parksville, Duncan, as well as pubs and clubs and private parties, have gained them friends and fans across Vancouver Island, the lower mainland, and beyond.
You will hear some Boogie Woogie, Funky Country, RocknRoll, and good old fashion blues Shuffles. Dancing & Singing along are all encouraged.
The Mark Crissinger Band ignites audiences every time they play. When you combine fresh ideas, excellent musicianship, and audience participation the result is a good time for everyone.
The show at the Gate House starts at 7 p.m.
