The RCMP is searching for Austin Lloyd, who was previously reported missing on April 24 from the North Island region.
A concerted effort between the RCMP in Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Alert Bay and the Island District General Investigation Section (GIS) has been made to follow up on all the information that has been received in regards to Lloyd’s last known location.
Campbell River Search and Rescue will be conducting a search in Port Hardy on Saturday May 10. Police are asking motorists to please drive cautiously along Highway 19 between Port Hardy and Port McNeill throughout the day.
The RCMP has described Lloyd as:
Indigenous male, 26 years-old, 5 foot 7 inches tall, 137 lbs, black hair, and brown eyes.
