The Port Hardy Secondary School junior and senior Whalers volleyball teams raised $1638.92 at their first car wash fundraiser of the season on Sunday, Sept. 22.
Port Hardy mayor Pat Corbett-Labatt was on hand to be the Whalers first customer of the day, and she stopped to take a photo with the teams afterwards.
