Saturday, community members came together in Port Hardy and Sointula for the Defend Our Climate, Defend Our Communities national day of action.

More than 130 communities across Canada took part in simultaneous events, “to show growing opposition to the risks posed by pipelines and oil sands expansion to our climate and communities,” as explained in a release.
