Born June 28,1922 in Vancouver died Aug 20,2004 at Royal Jubilee Hosp. in Victoria. Long time resident of the B.C. coast and Port McNeill. Predeceased by his parents John and Magna Didriksen, sister Edna and nephew Gary. Survived by his wife of 53 years Aashild, son Stanley, Daughters Nora Mae (John), Nancy (Buzz) four grandchildren Alisha, Jonathan, Julieanne, Andrew, sister Joanne, sister-in law Erna and aunt Edna Berg, many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Norway. He served in the Aleutian Islands in the WWII and spent the rest of his life logging and fishing around Shawl Bay where his heart remains. Memorial service to held Aug 28 in Port McNeill at Port McNeill Community Hall at 1:00. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
