Alice Arnet, Pioneer Lady, of the North Island passed away in Port Hardy Hospital on June 23, 2008.
Alice was born September 19, 1918 in “Gill’s House” at Hecate Cove in Quatsino Sound.
Alice leaves behind her son, Jerry and three sisters: Anneliese at Rupert Arm, Beatrice in Vancouver, Johanna in the Garibaldi Highlands and nephews and nieces by the dozens.
No service by request. Jerry, her son and other relatives would like to thank the Port Hardy Hospital staff, nurses and Doctor Lee for the care Alice received. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Alice Arnet to the Port Hardy Hospital specifically for the comfort of patients. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
