Allan Ernest Williams
1918-2004
Allan was born in Rivers Inlet on October 14, 1918 to Ingrid and William Williams (nee Honkala). Naturally, Rivers became some of his favourite fishing grounds during his many years as a commercial fisherman, with his wife Dorothy by his side for many of them. Allan and his wife Dorothy shared many life adventures together from fishing to hunting and endless walks on the beach. Allan passed away peacefully in the presence of his daughter on March 8, 2004 at the Port McNeill District Hospital. Allan is predeceased by his parents, his wife Dorothy in 1999, brothers Robert, Alvin, Alfred (Gloria) and sister Wilma (Delmare). Allan is survived by his brother Albert (Norma), daughter Pamela, granddaughter Carrie (Kevin), great grandchildren Des’re (5 yrs), Kayden (7 months) and many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
We are all saddened by your passing, but happy for your eternal freedom. We will forever reflect on your life in many stories, with much humour and Lucky Beer, the “nectar of the gods”. We are truly blessed to have your presence in our thoughts and hearts forever…Cheers!
There will be a Remembrance and Celebration of Life for both Allan and Dorothy?on Saturday, March 27th at the Sointula Seniors Centre commencing at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers there will be envelopes available for donations to the Cancer Society.
