Andy Glen Brown
April 5, 1952-February 1, 2013
“An honourable and tolerant man”
Born in Alberta, Andy grew up in Eastern Canada and lived in several provinces and all over BC before finally settling on the North Island.
He loved the outdoors and its pastimes, foremost among them, baseball, fishing, bocce and beer. A game of cards with good friends after a tasty dinner was fine entertainment for Andy Brown.
He fought his final battle with courage and dignity and will be truly missed by his many friends and family.
Among family members left to mourn are his daughter Amber Brown, his partner Barb McBride and her children to whom he was a great dad.
We will celebrate Andy’s life on Saturday, February 9 at 2pm at the Civic Centre.
