Andy Howich - 1924 - 2017 - With the best of memories in our hearts we announce the passing of our dear dad Andy Howich.
He lived life to the fullest. He loved to fish, hunt, travel, garden and tell stories.
He was close to celebrating his 93rd birthday, born in Port Alice BC in December 1924.
Andy bought his first fishing boat when he was 16 and was still out fishing in the last few months. He is a west coast fishing legend.
He was predeceased in 2005 by his wife Florence.
He is survived by his children David (Karen), Anna and Robin (Ian). As well as 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration will be held in his honour on November 26 @ 1:00 at the Campbell River Maritime Museum.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Children's Hospital.
He was a great supporter of many charities and the Children's was very important to him.
