Brent (Harley) Wehner

Nov 14, 1974 - Feb 5, 2007

With heavy hearts the Wehner family announce the loss of our son, brother and father, who lost his battle with Drug Addiction (Crack Cocaine) on February 5, 2007. Harley was born November 14, 1974 in Hope B.C. A very happy and special day for us. Our family moved to Port McNeill in 1979. Harley attended Sunset Elementary School and attended Carson Graham High School in Vancouver. When Harley was in grade six he fell in love with wrestling. Harley was a natural at this sport. He accumulated all kinds of awards, trophies, and metals. In 1993 Harley went to the Provincials which were held at Carson Graham School. Harley’s team placed first and Harley won gold for his performance. Because he placed 1st he secured a spot for the Nationals. But due to back problems the doctor advised him not to attend the Nationals.

Harley enjoyed fishing and the outdoor lifestyle. He also was a brown belt in Karate. Harley was a logger for over half of his life. He was a hard worker.

Harley was an addict half of his life. But to us, his family that does not define who he was. Harley was our son, Sunshine’s brother, Asia Prest’s father and Ben Pinegar’s father. Harley thought of his children lovingly everyday. His addiction prevented Harley from being part of their lives.

Harley will be truly missed.

We love you Harley.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Harley February, 25 2007 at 10:00am at

Though your smile we no longer see

And your hand we cannot touch

We will never lose the memories

Of the one we loved so much

To us you were so special

What more is there to say

Except to wish with all our hearts

That you were here today.

Forever Remembered
