Denis was born in Vancouver and moved to Port McNeill in February 1981. He is survived by his wife Julie, sister Diane, brother Dean (Shadow); nephews Rick (Pam) and Arnie, niece Leonie, grand/great-grand nephews and nieces, sister-in-law Suzanne (Roy) and brother Hugh, as well as many beloved friends.
Denis loved church, community and family. He gave his time and talents to all. He was generous and a kind spirit.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Church, Anglican Church, 103 Front Street, Alert Bay, B.C. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 1pm.
