It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Doug at Port McNeill. He was born in Victoria and lived and worked on Vancouver Island as a Forestry Engineer, retiring early to enjoy the benefits of life on the North Island where he lived for the past 30 years. He was a world traveler and ardent student of life.
Doug will be missed by his sister Joan (and Howard) and brothers Gord (and Val) and Brad (and Ronaye) and all his family and friends. At Doug’s request there will be no service.
We give our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Victoria General Hospital, Port Hardy Hospital and especially the staff at Port McNeill Hospital where Doug received the best of care. We will always appreciate the compassion shown to Doug and our family.
