Earl  Fredrick Lee

June 29th 1949 - February 18th, 2016

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and friend.

Earl is survived by Daughter Karen (Randy), Son David, Brothers Robin (Linda), and Brian (Shaunie), Sister Kathleen, Sister in Law Catherine, Brother in law Gary, Brother in law and best friend Lance and many 1st and 2nd Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren.

Earl is predeceased by Father Earl, Mother Doris, Sister Wendy, and Wife Carol.

Earl was born on a Wednesday in North Vancouver. In his younger days Earl enjoyed hot rodding around and cruising A&W in his '68 Roadrunner.

He moved with family across Canada to Pine Falls Manitoba and back to the lower mainland where he worked with the CNR at Portman and then took a transfer to Prince George. He worked at the CNR for over 20 years. Prince George was where he fell in love with fishing. He then moved to Port Alice before finding a home in Port McNeill where he found employment driving Taxi.

Earl and Lance worked a courier business in Port McNeil, and when they weren't working – you would find Earl off fishing. He loved to fish and smoking his catch; He had just bought a boat for the upcoming season. He enjoyed and looked forward to his trips to Campbell River with Lance for Lunch and poking around.

Earl was a light within the community and kindled many friendships. He was always a good conversationalist and spoke highly of everyone.

Earl quickly succumb to cancer and left us far too soon.

Services will be held at a later date, please celebrate Earl's life with fishing as much as possible this summer.
