Tharp, Ernest “Ernie”

Ernie passed away peacefully at the Cormorant Island Community Health Centre in Alert Bay. Employed by Island Copper Mine for 15 years. Moved to Alert Bay in 1990 and communted to the mine till his retirement in 1995. Survived by his wife Evelyn, son Tim (Port Hardy), mother Edith Winther (High Prarie, Alberta), sister Elise Gasper (Moose Jaw, Sask.) and brother Ken (High Prarie)
A celebration of Ernie’s life will be held in the Community Hall in Alert Bay on December 9, 2002 at 1:00PM
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
