George L. Bruner

Lovingly known as “Pa” and “Grandpa-pa” by his family, George passed away peacefully in Salmon Arm where he had been in a nursing home for the past six months.
He had lived and worked in the Alberni Valley from 1949 and leaves sons: Larry (Barbara). Ken (Joy), Keith (Rose) and daughter Kathy (Frank Butterfield), grandchildren: Terry, Donald & Marie, Gay, Jane & David, Sed & Amber, Tara, Valerie & Kenny and great-grandchildren: Leif, Cole & Sean: Mattae; Nadine & Ryley: Ryan: Leah & Isaiah: Kodi: Kai & Kole and great-great grandson Markus.
“Uncle George” will be missed by his nephews Bill, Leo, Rick and Danny and their families.
We will miss his wonderful sense of fun, teasing and loving “grumpiness.”
