Giesela (Thiem) Hanson passed away peacefully on September 2nd at Port Hardy Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Giesela is survived by her spouse Keith Nicholson, sons Shawn Fleeton (Joanna) and Bryan Hanson (Anthony), step daughters Jennifer Keizer and Amy Nicholson, mother Anne, siblings Lothar and Rose and several nieces and nephews.
A small private service will follow to celebrate Giesela.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the BC Cancer Society.
