Hans passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, September 4, 2005. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Meena; daughters Regina Komo (Kerry) of Kitimat and Sabina Chilson of Courtenay; grandsons Joshua, Brandon, Gabriel and Nathan, granddaughter Alayna; brother Horst Weber (Ursela) of Germany and many nieces and nephews. Hans worked at the Port Alice Pulp Mill for 35 years. He enjoyed the outdoors hiking in the forest, fishing and hunting. A Service of Remembrance in Celebration of Han’s Life will take place on Monday, September 12, 2005, 12:00 noon at the Living Waters Fellowship Church, 2222 Regent Street, Black Creek.
