Harri Eerik Syrjala, born Oct. 23, 1961 in Alert Bay, BC, passed away in his sleep at home, on Friday, 28th of March 2008. He is survived by his loving mother Aune Syrjala, his brother Henry Syrjala and his wife Glenda.
Harri will be missed by his family and friendcs in Sointula, as well as many relative in Finland.
Harri was a fisherman and his boat, Lady Josephine, was his second home. He loved to fish and was very happy to shar the catch with others who couldn’t go fishing.
Harri loved the forest, and picked mushrooms and wild cranberries in the fall with his mother. As well, he enjoyed cutting and selling firewood and hunting.
On his off time, Harri could be found with his friends, singing and playing his much loved guitar.
There is no service due to his request. Cremation.
Even if a heart is made of purest gold,
It will still tire and fade away.
