Namgis First Nation Member, Known as, “Blanche or Tammy” by her Friends. She was born on August 27, 1942 in Alert Bay BC. Harriet past away on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 5:00am, in Nanaimo.
Harriet’s parents were Caleb Jefferson Salmon of Namgis and Amy Salmon (Beans) of the Mamalelequala Tribe. Harriet is survived by her husband, Schuyler Thompson, her two sisters, Eliza McAleer and Eleanor Crabe, her two children Jeff Salmon and Amy Speck along with her five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and numerous Nieces/Nephews and Great Nieces/Nephews.
