Harvey Allan (Joe) Chambers

Born Aug. 25, 1955 in Gainsborough, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly May 29,. 2003.

He moved with his family at the age of three to Milk River, Alberta where he lived for his childhood years. Joe attended University in Lethbridge where he met his wife Anita and they were married on September 4, 1976. Meanwhile Joe had transferred to Lethbridge where he graduated and began his career as a Fisheries Officer in 1977, This was a career that allowed him to pursue his lifelong passion for the outdoors. Joe and Anita lived in various places in BC including Alert Bay, New Westminster, Kitimat, Salmon Arm, Port Hardy and Cranbrook. Joe was a very loving and dedicated man with a huge passion for his family and friends. He loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and curling. He will be lovingly remembered by wife Anita, children Ryan and Paige, his mother Corinne Chambers, brother Lloyd (Martina) Chambers, Hal (Darlene) Chambers and Anita’s family: mother-in-law, Robertine, brothers and sisters: George (Helen), Roger (Elnora), Anna (Jim), Berthe (Ross), Marcia (Howie), Claude (Betty), Gen (Keith), Jeanne (Kevin), Leon (Kelly), Antoinette (Brian), and their families. Joe was predeceased by his infant sone Aaron and his father Harvey.

A funeral service was held at the Christ the Servant Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 3, 2003.
