On July 23, 2004, Helen Mary Smith, our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, passed away. Predeceased by her loving husband Cecil in October 1999. Helen is survived by her children, Cecelia Cameron (son-in-law Ray), Linda Freed, and son Stuart Smith (daughter-in-law Sharon), Grandchildren; Stanley, Robert (Chandra), Cindy (Trevor), Roxanne, Kimberly (David), RJ (Irene), Kathy (Greg), Marnie (Martin), Colin (Angie). Great-grandchildren; Zachery, Carla, Steffi, Courtenei, Rachell, Brittnei, Alexis, Declan and (new baby expected anytime will be named Helen Mary).
Helen was an active member of the Hardy Bay Seniors and was loved by all. She loved meeting new people and making new friends. She will always be remembered for her gently caring ways, her sense of humor and love for all animals, especially her grand dogs. Throughout the years Helen loved and enjoyed the outdoors. She especially loved camping with family and friends at Vernon Lake. She will remain in our hearts and our memories forever. She made an incredible difference in so many lives, she will be sadly missed.
A Garden Memorial Service will be held for Helen Mary Smith on August 7, 2004 @ 1:00 pm; Location: 4150 Byng Road. Transportation to and from the services will be available. Bus will leave the Seniors Centre at 12:15 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s name to the Hardy Bay Seniors Citizens Society.

I loved being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and friend. My time on earth is over now. I now embark on the greatest of all journeys, enjoying an eternity of peace.”
