Also missing grandpa are Shaun, Cory, Kristy, Courtney, Colin, Cole, Aleta, Brooke, and Chelsea as well as five great-grandchildren and his brother Doug.

Jim met and married Fran (Heide) in Port Hardy in 1965, later returning to the Kootenays for a few years before finally settling in Port Hardy in 1971. He worked at Utah Mines until 1980 when he and Fran bought their store, Market St. Market.
Jim also served as Alderman in Port Hardy for two terms.
Jim and Fran moved to Comox in 2000 to be closer to family.
Jim was a very hard-working, honorable man who loved music, photography, and reading.
Jim was also very faithful and cherished his brothers and sisters from the Bay Community Church and his bible study groups.
