Burns - Jo-Anne Phyliss (nee: Lansall) was known to most as Jo, and a select few as Mom, Smokey, and Grandma. She was 58 when she left us on December 24, 2004. Her energy often left those who knew her breathless. Her presence wrapped us in warmth. Admired, respected, loved and deeply missed by her duaghter Tamara Burgess (nee: Falk) of Port Hardy; son Byron Caddy and grandchildren Brayden and Kayla of Port Alberni, son Vincent Caddy and partner Gunnar Rasmussen of Nanaimo; and all those who knew her.
