He lived on the North Island Port Hardy and Alert Bay for approximately 40 years.
Joe was a Korean Vet and after he was released from the army joined the Rangers in Port Hardy. He was a fisherman for 20 years. Joe comes from a large & extended family. He was born in Union Bay November 18, 1932 and died peacefully at home on Port Hardy January 09, 2020.
He is survived by his long time partner, Carole Calisa and his canine companion Missy. Joe was a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion. There will be a Celebration Of Life at the Port Hardy Legion Branch 237 sometime in April.
