In Loving Memory ~
Ken passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon. He leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years Maureen. Also, his 2 bonus children Shannon Miller (John) and Sean Horrocks (Sarah), 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Ken is also survived by his 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews all living down the island.
Many know Ken from his days with Western Forest Products starting in June landing as a body man and in Mahatta River and in Port McNeil as a HD Mechanic.
He was also known for his love of cars, in the last year "Pontiac Rules"; racing on the Comox logging road, to the "Rumble on the Runway", along with his years with the IDRA as the Safety Director, in Black Creek.
Ken has asked for no Service, for each to remember him in their own way. No flowers, but those who wish to: Canadian Diabetes Foundation in his name.
