Lauraine passed away peacefully September 17, 2003 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox. Born July 19, 1951, Brading, Isle of Wight, England. She leaves behind her loving husband Doug, sons Troy Browne of Woss; Andrew (Lana) of Woss.
Grandchildren Dyllan, Malcolm, Riley, Kenton and Merrick. She also leaves behind a brother Mark (Heather) Locke of Union Bay and stepsons Kyle and Drew Kernovich of Campbell River. Predeceased by her parents Hella and Godfrey Locke. Lauraine lived in England, Germany, Australia and new Zealand before moving to Eastern Canada and then finally to Nimpkish/Woss where she worked for Canfor for many years. She moved to Campbell River in 1999. There will be a celebration of Lauraine’s life at the Eagles Hall on Saturday September 27, 2003 at 3:00p.m. in Campbell River.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the M.S. Society of Canada or C.R. Hospital Foundation. The Family would like to thank Dr. Keith Graham, Dr. Proctor, Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Killam, the nurses in Campbell River Emergency Ward and Intensive care Unit in Comox.
