Sept. 18, 1948
to Feb. 20, 2007
Passed away peacefully at Port McNeill after a valiant battle with cancer. Survived by daughter Amy and husband Bill. Missed but not forgotten by many friends. Born in Vancouver, Linda worked as a bookkeeper for a number of companies and at the VSE. She was on the Vancouver Women’s Transportation Club. Linda was a hard worker, always willing to lend a hand. Linda married Bill in 1991 and was a devoted mother to Amy. In 1994 the family moved to Port McNeill. Whether working in Alert Bay helping others, working long hours in the family cleaning business or putting up those little coupons in the stores, Linda made friends. Linda readily shared her strong faith in Christ and was sustained by it during her final days. A service celebrating Linda’s life was held at Port McNeill Baptist Church Saturday Feb. 24.
