Lorraine Johanna Wagner

Lorraine Johanna Wagner, 82, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2010 with family members at her side at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

Lorrie was born May 21, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI. She married Clyde A. “Bud” Wagner on August 2, 1947 and they were married for 63 years until her passing. In 1954, the young family with 3 children settled in the Seattle area where Bud was raised, and resided there until 2009. Lorrie and Bud spent much time at Telegraph Cove, BC over the past 25 years while Bud via Telegraph Cove Venture spearheaded development of the resort community.

Lorrie and Bud visited Maui every year since 1969 and recently became full time Maui residents. Lorrie was enjoying relatively good health and was looking forward to many life plans – right up until her swimming accident of November 11, 2010 near her Wailea home.

She passed away the next day.

Lorrie is survived by her husband, Clyde A. “Bud” Wagner; daughters Lynne Marie (Charles Rawls) Paasch of West Richland, WA and Constance Ann Morken of Scottsdale, AZ; son Clyde David (Shifteh) Wagner of Wailea, Maui; sister Sharon (Tom) Ambacher of Milwaukee, WI; five beloved grandsons (Joel, Tyler, Travis, Jason and Sol) and 3 great grandchildren whom she adored (Jake, Josh, and Lyla Lorraine).

Memorial contributions may be made in Lorrie’s name to the Maui Humane Society, P.O. Box 1047, Puunene, HI 96784-1047.

A memorial/celebration of life for Lorrie will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Keawalai Congregational Church, 5300 Makena Road, Makena, Maui, HI 96753.
