September 16, 1937 - April 3, 2019
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Father, Grandpa and Brother Marvin Wilson after a long hard fought battle with cancer.

Marvin is survived and will be greatly missed by his children; Daughter Debbie Richards (Greg), Sons Perry Wilson (Nicole), Lance Wilson (Lynne) Grandchildren; Dustin and Tayler-Marie Richards, Riley Wilson, Shelby and Kaitlyn Wilson. Marvin is also survived by his Sister Lavina Beckley, Brother Ron Wilson (Marion) and his nieces and nephews. Marvin is pre-deceased by his wife of 49 years Donna and his oldest grandson Ryan. His faithful four legged companion Bailey is lost without him.

All who knew and loved Marvin will remember his strength, hard work ethics, and most of all his ability and determination to always hold strong to what he believed was right. Marvin moved to Port McNeill long before it was even a village with his Mother Roberta and Father Levi Wilson in February 1940. Over the years we enjoyed listening to Marvin's stories telling of how he started work as a whistle punk and many other jobs in the woods, logging some areas twice. There are many stories of hunting and fishing throughout the Broughton Archipelago area as well as escapades he and his friends lived to tell about. One of those stories being his point of pride that Marvin owned the first private car in Port McNeill.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers; the Family asks that a donation be made to the Campbell River Hospital Cancer Clinic or the Port McNeill Hospital.
