Olmer Alfred Josiah Brown

Died peacefully in Kamloops General Hospital. Olmer lived in Big Lake the past few years and previously was a long time resident in Port McNeill. He worked in the logging industry during his 30+ years on the North Island. And in his retirement, decided to try his hand at gold mining, which he loved.

He was predeceased by his stepson Daniel Garry Harper and his grandson Colin Andrew Lancaster. He is survived by his loving wife Linda and by his sons Olmer (Lorraine), Randy (Susan), Mark (Donna) and Geoffrey (Kaely) and his stepdaughter Treena (Jim) Lancaster. He is also survived by his granchildren Bryan Brown, Olmer Brown, Antony Brown, Dustin (Danielle) Brown, Devin Brown, Michelle Brown, Scott Brown, Asher Brown, Courtenay (Jaylene) Lancaster and Danielle Lancaster. Also by his mother Martha Brown, two brothers Milton and Floyd (Jan), his sister Delores and many nieces and nephews.

Service to be held Monday, April 5 at 1:00pm at the Big Lake Community Centre located between 150 Mile House and Likely, BC.
