McNulty, Patrick of Port McNeill, BC. Born March 17, 1926 passed away July 11, 2009.
Pat passed away gently with his family by his side in Port McNeill Hospital. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Willy; daughter Helen (Phil) Harrison of Nanaimo, BC; grandsons Andrew & Brock; his son Stephen of Abbotsford, BC; grand-daughter Kasey; his stepson John (Linda) Meyer; grand-daughters Ashlee, Melanie and Amy. And three Great grandchildren and his many, many friends.
Pat was born in Glasgow, Scotland and trained as a Registered Nurse. He came to Ontario in 1956, BC in 1959 and Port McNeill in 1986. He was a member of the Rainbow Masonic Lodge #180 in Port Hardy, BC and was a Past District Deputy Grand Master of District #22 which goes from Parksville, BC through to Port Hardy, BC in 1998.
Pat loved to teach and make people laugh and his personal motto was “to leave this world a better place”. He can rest easy knowing he has well accomplished that goal.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Lions Hall in Port McNeill, BC on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 2:00pm.
