It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband Reg in the Campbell River Hospital on January 29, 2018 at the age of 70 years.
Reg was predeceased by his son Reg Jr., his sisters Nancy Peabody Cameron and Mabel Peabody Legasse and both of his parents Frederick and Helen Gray Peabody.
Reg is survived by his wife of 47 years Roberta, three sons Ronnie Peabody (Jamie), Joey Hunt (Lisa), and John Allan Peabody; seven grandchildren, Joey, Cody, Hannah, Shandal, Matthew, Jeffery and Connor; and five great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Nathan, Hannah, Ariana and Abie.
He is also lovingly remembered by one brother James (Diane) Peabody, two sisters, Betty (Ron) Lyon and Lorna (Jack) McPherson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in his large extended family.
Reg will be lovingly missed by all his family, his many friends, devoted caregivers and all who knew his kind, caring ways and wonderful sense of humor.
There will not be a public service held at this time.
The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name; In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
