BLAIS — Rémi Louis Joseph Blais passed away very suddenly on February 25, 2003. A Prayer Service was held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. The celebration of Rémi’s life was officiated by Father Lang alongside his dad Lionel Blais. Rémi was born on November 4, 1952. He was predeceased by his infant sisters Claire and Estelle, his father Lionel, his grandparents Jean-Baptiste and Léontine Blais and Willie and Emilia Sévigny. Rémi will be remembered and sadly missed by his mom Yvette Blais, brothers Léon (Pauline) Blais, Claude (Marilyn) Blais, Rosaire (Eveline) Blais, Marc (Dianne) Blais, sisters Marie (Ellice) Mamchur, Rose-Anne (Ron) Kielo and Ghislaine (Bernard) Painchaud, and his special friends Michel Fortier and Julia Thimsen, along with all his good friends and relatives. Rémi was raised on the farm in Debden, SK, loving the nature and all the animals. He then moved onto Port Hardy, BC in 1972 and worked as an equipment operator. He then retired to Prince Albert in 1998, to be closer to his parents and family. In lieu of other tributes, the family would appreciate donations to Mont St. Joseph Home, 777 — 28th Street East, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 8C2.
