It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my son Ronnie V. Boisvert. Ron was 48 years old and had been living in Chilliwack, BC since 2015, until his illness became unmanageable. He died on the afternoon of January 24, 2018 at the Chilliwack General Hospital.
Ron was born on January 20, 1970 in Edmonton, Alberta. He is remembered by his beloved sister Colette (and Shaine) who took it upon herself to help her brother through everything that Progressive MS threw at him.
Ron had three beautiful sons: Andrew, David and Luke whom he adored. His Dad Emile and mother Angele (and Tony) watched their beautiful son fight this uncontrollable disease, bravely.
Remembered by his only sister Colette and spouse Shaine and her family Brittany, (Cody) Saige and Mia. Grandmother Marie Rose Lapointe, and his partner Michelle who helped Ron realize his wish to live independently as his disease progressed, and several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who included Ron in their prayers at all times.
Some of Ron's favourite moments were with his job at Telus, who gave him the opportunity to live in Port Hardy - the town he loved - where he enjoyed the ocean through his living room window while burning wood in his fireplace.
Ron also loved his weekly movie outings with his sister, eating popcorn with way too much butter.
Rest in peace my beautiful son... we will love you forever
