Mom has gone Home to her parents James & Ida, brother Kenneth, husband Norman and sons Martin & Eric.
The roses left blooming for her are sisters Ann & Lucy (Oscar), brother Olie (Edwina); her children Lorna (Dale) White, Norma (Richard) Hemphill, Karla Broadfoot, Melvin (Cheryl) Lysne, Kelly and Robert; her precious and much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many treasured nieces, nephews, cousins; the young people who chose her to be “Mom”, “Gran” or “Auntie” and a multitude of friends from a thousand walks of life.
Following a Celebration of her life, May 14, 2007, Mom’s ashes were laid to rest with son Eric at Port Hardy Cemetery.
Heartfelt thanks go to the doctors, especially Dr. Shawna Dawe, the Nurses and the Staff at Port Hardy Hospital for their loving & devoted care of our Mother.
Our thanks, love & appreciation to Cynthia Khonje & her amazing crew; Richard George; Port Hardy Lions Club; Pastor Don & Linda Felkley; those who travelled from afar to be with us; and all of you without whose love & support our loss would be insurmountable.
